Denim Flower Appliques – Layered Denim Roses & Beaded Flowers

Layered denim flower appliques in three washes of indigo - deep indigo, mid blue and pale washed blue - for denim jackets, jeans, bags and craft work. The range runs from 3.5 cm accents to 7.5 cm statement flowers, and holds two different constructions.

Four sizes are held: 3.50 cm， 4.50 cm，5.50 cm，7.50 cm

Size decides how the flower reads on a garment. At 3.5 cm it works as a repeated accent - along a placket, on a pocket flap, scattered across a yoke. At 5.5 cm it carries a lapel or a shoulder on its own. At 7.5 cm it is a single feature piece, and on a jacket back or a tote it fills the space without help.

The roses are built from stacked, shaped petals with a stitched raw edge. The layers sit as separate planes rather than a flat moulded shape, so the flower has depth from the side as well as from the front. The petal edges are left raw and slightly frayed, which is what gives the denim its texture.

The open flowers are five broad petals with a cluster of small coral beads set into the centre. They sit flatter than the roses and read as a cleaner, more graphic shape.

Both constructions are held in all three washes.

Deep indigo has the most contrast and reads as a dark accent on pale denim. Mid blue is the middle ground, working as a tonal detail on most denim grounds. Pale washed blue sits close to stone and ecru, where it settles into the cloth and shows up mainly through its shadow.
